person
- By sharing needles or syringes with an infected person
- During pregnancy, birth or breast-feeding from an infected mother
to her baby

- Vaginal fluid
- Semen
- Blood
- Breast milk
Stopping the spread of HIV…
- When having sex, people who use a latex condom the right way
every time greatly decreases the risk of HIV infection and other
STD’s
- NO SEX is SAFE SEX
- Do not share needle or syringes always use new and sterile
equipment every time you inject non-prescribed drugs like cocaine,
heroin, etc.
- When more effective prevention is not possible, clean drug
equipment with bleach
- Dispose of needles safely. Remember, drugs or alcohol can impair a
person’s judgment
