Today on Oprah, 200 men (young and old) stood up against their abusers by taking a stand and getting rid of all the guilt and shame of what their abusers did to them. Men who were once young boys, who needed guidance from a men to teach them manhood. However, they violated these children and I believe that they should be the one to wear the shirt of guilt and shame and not the victim. I believe this even if someone tells a little white lie. There's no such thing as a little white lie. A lie is a lie just as a thief is a thief. I believe that we all have done things that we are not pleased with, but no matter what we have to forgive in order to have real meaning to our lives. Forgive our abusers and forgive ourselves because our actions are not always 100% pure.
We have to learn to love and forgive just has Christ has done for us.
My prayers go out to everyone who has been sexual abused rather you were a male or female. Abuse is abuse but nothing can destroy love. Love yourself in spite of and forgive your abuser. Today Oprah quoted that "forgiveness is letting go of what the past could have been".So,please remember that all that we have left is TODAY! Therefore, please my friend, do not waste the time that you have left by remaining bitter. Let your abuser do that, so take back your power.
Always, remember that it was not your fault yourself. It's your right!

When asked about the importance of participating in Oprah Winfrey's show on Male Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse, Keith said, “My hope is that one boy, or one man, age 7 or 70, sees the show, sees 200 male survivors, and comes to realize they’re not alone. I hope the show allows boys and men to find the strength they need to break their silence, to speak out about their own personal abuse and be able to shed the misplaced fear, shame and guilt that has been hurting them for so long so they too can begin the transition from sexual assault victim to sexual assault survivor.”

I too totally agree with you... I do hope that the show allows boys and men to find the strength they need to break their silence, to speak out about their own personal abuse and be able to shed the misplaced fear, shame and guilt that has been hurting them for so long so they too can begin the transition from sexual assault victim to sexual assault survivor.”
To be honest, the show opened my eyes to see that we as adults should watch out for our young boys just as much as we should the girls. I didn't realize how much sexual assault happens among young boys, but I am truly glad to know that you found the courage to speak out and shed light to all Americans about what is happen to our children.
I wish you much success in your endeavors. Please continue to follow up with us.
